The Corvettes Big Band is based at HMAS Cerberus
in Victoria and is part of the Royal Australian Navy
Band - Melbourne Detachment.
It consists of up to eighteen of the Navy's finest jazz
and commercial musicians who perform a diverse
repertoire of vocal and instrumental Big Band music.
Today the RAN Band continue a proud tradition of
providing ceremonial, musical and public relations
support for the Royal Australian Navy.
The Drifters - The local Moe based band for the best
music in the Latrobe Valley
These guys have played 60s music for the last 49
years.
They hold a charity dance every year in Kernot
Hall (Morwell) and raise money for local groups..
